Leaving Your Comfort Zone To Expand Your Success!

Your comfort zone is that 'safe' place where you can exist without challenges and/or change! Now as comfortable as this may be it is NOT an environment in which you can expect to experience growth either personally or professionally! For anybody trying to build an affiliate business online it will be particularly necessary to continually push yourself to learn and experience new things! As uncomfortable as this may be it is the ONLY way to grow an affiliate business so it's best to accept and embrace this fact!
Here are 5 ways in which affiliates can expect to experience growth in both themselves and their business by pushing themselves and learning 'new' things!
Increases Skill Set/Knowledge
The first and obvious benefit that occurs when you push yourself to explore and learn something new is the education you receive! Of course when working online this education typically includes acquiring new skills as well that you can apply in your efforts to grow an affiliate business!
Increases Self Confidence
Acquiring new knowledge or skills that you applied successfully typically instills in you the feeling of 'world conquering' confidence! This feeling is essential in giving you the encouragement to take risks or try something new and in this way you experience growth on a personal level! You are now more willing to venture forward into the unknown not with the feeling of dread but rather confident anticipation!
Increases Motivation
By applying what you learn and seeing positive results will motivate anybody to repeat the process all over again! Knowing you 'can' naturally motivates you to push yourself further which is something you MUST be willing to continually do to succeed online!
Increases Competitive Edge
Possessing new skills and additional knowledge serves to make you a more formidable competitor and strengthens your affiliate business! Affiliates working online know full well that theirs is a highly competitive industry and that they must continue to learn in order to prosper!
Stimulates 'Thirst'
The more you learn the more you realize how little you know and this compels people to 'thirst' for making additional improvements! The key is to place into action what knowledge or skills you've acquired so that you can experience the benefits and confirmation that your efforts are NOT being wasted! Who out there does not develop a yearning to continue along the same path that gives you the results you want or need?
Your comfort zone is NOT the place you need to be if you expect to experience growth in your affiliate business! Being successful marketing online requires for you to push yourself to learn new things and apply what you learned! Although this may sound terribly uncomfortable it's important to recognize the 5 ways above you'll experience growth and how this translates into building a prosperous affiliate business!

Let Failure Lead You To Success

When It Comes to Success, Failure Can Be Your Friend
Yes, you read that right. Let failure lead you to success. Let me explain, some of the most successful people in history had failure after failure. I think I can say that they were very grateful for each failure because it set them up ultimately for the great success for which they would be known.
What exactly separates them from everyone else? They did not give up and say this does not work, as they made a way for it to work. They were determined to have success. They refused to give up. Think about how much different our world would be today if they did quit. Some of these people include Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.
We all know about how Thomas Edison failed so many times but just kept going. When he failed, he would cross that off his checklist and move on and try something else. He knew that with each failure he was that much closer to success. What a great outlook to have.
Abraham Lincoln is another man that we have heard a lot about concerning failure. He lost jobs, elections in Congress and Senate, yet he never gave up and eventually won the highest election and became the President of the United States. He not only became President but is one of the Greatest Presidents ever. Just imagine if he gave up how it could have affected the outcome of the Civil War and the direction of our Country.
Now George Washington is a man we usually do not hear a lot about when it comes to failures, but check this out. As Commander of the American Army in the Revolutionary War he only won two battles. One of the battles was the last one which was the one that ultimately counted. Now I think we are all thankful that he did not quit.
Will You Push Your Way to Success?
So what about you? Maybe your circumstances are not what you want, but keep pushing through and do not quit. Zig Ziglar said it best when he said failure plus perseverance equals success. Failure is an event, not a person or a way of life. Failure is just something that did not work at that moment in time. We learn from that failure and learn not to do it that way again.
It is said with age comes wisdom and that stems from the failures that one has had throughout life. A younger person can either learn from an older wiser person or learn on their own. The main thing is do not give up! The moment you give up, success could have been right around the corner.
The greatest failure of all though is just not getting started. Your chances of success are much better when you start. We all fail at something at one point in our life or maybe several times but I can't say it enough, just do not give up. Success is yours and perseverance is the way to it. No matter what you are facing I know you can have success if you keep pushing.
If you want success than you must think success. So do not sit around and wish you had done something or accept failure and quit. Get out there now and take massive action! I wish you much success with whatever you do!

Laziness, The Biggest Obstacle To Success

Are you lazy? Very few people can answer 'No' to that question. Basically we are all lazy though the degree of laziness may vary. If people have a choice between doing nothing and reading a book that could improve their life, which do you think most people would choose? Being idle, of course. Why? Because that's a lot easier!
There is this story of a man lying lazily under a date palm tree, a date fruit falls on him and lands on his chest. The guy is so lazy that he doesn't move at all. After some time he notices a person passing by on a camel's back. The lazy guy calls out to the man on the camel, who gets down from the camel and approaches the lazy man and asks him, "Why did you call me?" The lazy guy says, "Please take this date from my chest and put it in my mouth." The camel guy gets angry, "Did you call me to do this? You have two hands, why don't you do it yourself." Saying this he gets on his camel and leaves in a huff. When he is gone, the man lying down mutters to himself, "These camel riders are very lazy people." Laziness is loving being idle, not straining the mind and body in any way.
So why are we lazy? Maybe the task is unpleasant, I am not in the mood, I have this fear of failure, fear of success, I can't decide, lazing feels good. Once we become aware about the real reason we are lazy, we can overcome it. Laziness is a habit which we have developed over time. It starts with simple things like being lazy about shaving, taking a bath, polishing the shoes, cutting the nails, doing homework, reading a book, not calling back a customer, cleaning the work desk, updating the cheque counterfoil, paying the phone bill, service the car, making the report... Because it is a learnt habit, it can be unlearnt too.
What could we possibly lose, if we continued being lazy? Your work would always be pending, causing a great deal of stress, problems with the boss, poor productivity, poor health, more clutter, you can never learn and grow, you miss opportunities, poor performance, low morale, frustration and failed assignments. Above all, we don't feel good about ourselves.
Lazy people are good at making excuses, E.g. I am not in the mood now, I need to think it over, I will have a nap first, I don't have enough information on this, I need a drink first, I am hungry, I have a headache, My stars are not in sync, My time is not good... What's your excuse for not doing something? Remember, they are just excuses. My Guru taught me, "If you want to do something you will find a way, but if you don't want to do something you will find an excuse." So do you want to become a champion of producing great results or you want to become a champion in making excuses?
People around you are watching you. You become a role model for people around you, whether it is at home or at the workplace. If you project an image of being a lazy person, your credibility will take a beating; people won't trust you and that could mean disaster.
If at all you want to be lazy, be lazy in positive ways. For example when you have this urge to unfairly criticize someone, tell yourself," I don't feel like criticizing this person now, as I am not in the mood, I think, I will do it tomorrow." Say the same thing when you get angry, when you have this urge to take revenge, when you think negative or even when you want to commit suicide.
What action can we take to overcome our laziness? Here are some practical suggestions:
Take small action - Try reading just 5 pages of a 400 pages book
Start taking actions with simple task and then move on to more difficult tasks.
Talk to yourself in positive language - "I immediately act upon the goals that are most important to me."
Come up with strong 'Why' reasons to do something.
Work with a buddy who monitors your actions daily.
Associate a lot of pleasure to taking action and lot of pain to sitting idle and doing nothing.
We have three kinds of people. People who make things happen. People who let things happen to them. People who wonder what happened. It is up to you to decide what class you want to belong in.

Stop Procrastination

One of the best ways to stop procrastination, especially if it's a chronic habit of yours, is to try and identify what's holding you back! Some people feel procrastinating is simply a natural 'filter' that keeps you from taking action until the time is right! I feel that anybody who agrees with this 'logic' will most likely be severely challenged to improve productivity in many aspects of their life!
In the opinion of this writer I feel the 'source' behind people NOT taking action can be found rooted in one of the 3 following reasons!
Lack of Discipline
Taking action is obviously something you MUST do if you plan to accomplish just about anything at all! For those who tend to procrastinate however quite often this can be the result of merely a lack of discipline on their part! Without the proper discipline people typically found focusing to be more of a challenge therefore they 'gravitate' towards 'busy work' that requires less focus and/or effort on their part! This is especially the case when people lack prior experience or the task at hand is a formidable one!
'Clinging' to Comfort Zone
As mentioned previously, another prime reason folks tend to put off doing something is because they've never done it before! This can easily and understandably lead to a lack of confidence and the fear of failure! Nobody wants to fail at anything so it's quite natural to take measures to remain in your familiar 'comfort zone' thereby avoiding the possibility of failure in the first place! This fear is often times the primary factor holding you back from taking risks or pursuing new goals!
Lack of Motivation
Possibly the most common reason people hesitate taking action on many things is due to nothing more than a lack of motivation! When you're not properly motivated you may want to reevaluate how important the goal or task you're facing is to you! Sometimes there are certain 'things' that you're better off walking away from if you realize their completion is NOT all that important to you! First of all this would be an inappropriate goal to set if the burning desire within you to achieve it does not exist! Furthermore your efforts would likely lack focus and the results would therefore lack quality!
In order to stop procrastination from holding you back it only makes sense that to effectively address the problem you'll need to identify the reasons! Although some feel procrastinating is a natural 'filter' that kicks in to tell you when the time is 'right' I feel that exclamation is off base! The focus of the discussion above targets more 'personal' issues that serve as reasons why taking action for some can be so difficult! The point is in order for you to improve productivity you'll need to be personally accountable for identifying and overcoming the barriers actually holding you back! To identify these possible barriers, as we've done above, is simply the first step! How and when you address them is ultimately up to you!

Your Rules For Success

There are an unlimited number of personal success stories in the world and I would bet every single one of them would sound different.
So if each one of those stories is different how are you going to learn to create your own success?
You could pick one story and simply try to copy everything they did and you may achieve some success but I am guessing it would be short lived. Learning from these stories is smart but trying to be something you are not isn't.
It is not so much about what they did to achieve their success but who they chose to be to get it.
If we dug deeper into those stories you would start to find each person has developed a set of internal success rules that they bounce all of their decisions off of.
Rules that they believe in to the point they act on them subconsciously.
These rules need to be flexible as successful people know they need to be modified as they grow as individuals.
It is important to know that successful people did not figure out their rules overnight. They took years of trial and error to refine and articulate their rules in a way that resonated with them.
A key piece in their success is that they were in a constant action of clarification. They focused on defining what success meant to them and set the rules they needed to ensure they would achieve that success.
Rules for Success
The following rules for success are just a guideline and mean something to me but you will need to customize these success rules to have them emotionally resonate with you.
Live Your Passion
• Your passion is what allows you to persevere. If I am not passionate about something why would I invest my precious energy into it? It takes time to discover your passion but you must be relentless in finding it.
Trust Yourself
• Listen to your gut and trust your instincts. You may not always make the right decisions but that is how you learn and grow. Your body will tell you what you really need to do if you just listen to it. Silence the inner voice of self-doubt and trust yourself.
Don't Be Afraid To Fail
• If you live life afraid to fail you will never live life. Do not plan to fail but be prepared to learn from what failure teaches you. When we spend life trying to look good out of fear of failure we actually end up not doing anything at all. Doing nothing due to the fear of failure is failing.
Don't Listen To The Naysayers
• Never let someone tell you that you cannot do something. If you have a dream you need to protect it. When people believe they can't do something themselves they will try to tell you that you can't do it. When you want to live a life you love you have to go get it.
Think Big
• Thinking big leads to accomplishing big things in life. Thinking small leads to a life of mediocrity. Take chances because without risk there is no reward. Limitless thinking is a skill that can be practiced and refined to get you want you want out of life.
Be YOU
• Even if the you that you want to be is different then everyone else please be it. You need to know who you are and what you believe in to be capable of creating success. Do not follow what you are supposed to be according to others as that will lead you to unhappiness.
Stay Focused
• You need to stay focused on what you truly want and work your butt off to get it. Being intensely focused will give you the determination to do the work needed to create your success. Anything worth having in life is worth working hard for.
Unlimited personal success starts with creating your own rules for success foundation.
Let me know what some of your rules for success are? The rules you have already defined and use for guidance whenever you need it.
Take Action Request:
Define what you believe your current rules for success are by reflecting on a time when you achieved the success you desired. What did you have to do and who did you need to be in order to get that success?
Your Life Your Choice Your Design
"Don't be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again." - Richard Branson
Having had the opportunity to watch Chip Wilson create a level of personal success through an intense focus on goal setting Darrin knew he wanted to become a goal coach in hopes to help others do the same. It takes time and a commitment to discover your rules for success but the work is worth the reward.

If You Dream, Dream Big!

If you think dreaming is an essential part of your happiness in life, don't be shy to dream big.
If you spend your time on dreaming, it is not a waste of time. You see, if you dream, you just choose to have success in your life. Why is that? To be honest with you, I must say very clearly that it is impossible for you to be successful if you consider the habit to dream a waste of time.
The most exciting and valuable accomplishments in life tend to have the beginning in your head. If you really desire to achieve something extraordinary, you must make a plan in your head first. You should make a structure of your future success and happiness by making a decision to dream.
You dream big and by doing it you make a commitment that from this point in time you start to pursue your success.
If you decide to make great achievements and you don't forget to dream big about them, you motivate yourself to always be on track. It is much more easier to do what it takes to achieve great things in life when you dream big.
John Maxwell, in his famous video coaching series, is teaching you how to set your mind on success by accelerating your positive thoughts. You can activate your positive thinking by making the decision to dream big.
Maxwell doesn't have any doubts about it: if you are going to dream, don't hesitate to dream big.
It just does not make any sense to waste your energy on dreaming, if you don't feel the need to dream big. Anyone can dream and now you have to figure out what size your dreams must be.
According to John, if you dream small, you will be able to accomplish some small things only. This is how it works. You can learn from John Maxwell's video lesson the secret of achieving the greatest things in life. Here it is: you need to dream out of your comfort zone.
What is comfort zone? The comfort zone is what you know, what you familiar with. The definition of comfort zone is that this is something what you like, what you try and personally experience. If you want to dream, it is important for you to learn to dream out of your comfort zone and get over your head.
John Maxwell says it beautifully about how to dream big using these words:
"To the one who's over the head it doesn't matter how deep the water is".

Leaders Are Made Not Born!

Ever heard the term "A Natural Born Leader"? Many people are under the assumption that only a selected few are born leaders. If you believe this statement to be true than allow me to burst your bubble. This statement is 100% false! As babies nobody had the knowledge to comprehend leadership let alone understanding the basics of life. In short, no one is born a leader! However anyone can be molded into a true leader. The path to leadership is a never ending journey. Even when you do become a leader someday there will always be many things to learn. And the more you learn the more you will grow as a successful leader. Leadership is all about attitude. You must be willing to tackle all obstacles that stands between you and your goals. When things get tough true leaders never give up. They always try to find different solution to obtain victory. Anyone can be a leader! All it takes is having the right attitude, the drive, motivation, self belief, charisma, and perseverance.

Problem Solving Is Not As Difficult As It Seems

From time to time, we all find ourselves facing problems. At times, we get so stuck that we are just not able to solve them. Many times we fail at solving our problems just because we are not able to come up with the right solutions. If you are looking for solutions to the problems that you face, then you should consider the following problem solving tips.
1. Brainstorming: If you simply wait for solutions to your problems to pop into your head, they never will. Instead of waiting for the solutions to come to you, star brainstorming. Start by writing down any ideas might help you solve your problems. Once you have noted one or two basic solutions, try coming with ideas from them. Ultimately, you will have a whole range of ideas that will be interconnected with each other, and these ideas will help you generate the right solutions for your problems.
2. Taking Notes: The unique thing about problem solving is that ideas to solve your problems might come to you when you least expect it. You might be busy doing something else when suddenly a great idea pops into your head that might solve your problem or problems. If you do not take notes of these ideas, you will end up forgetting them. Letting those ideas go might seem like nothing, but later you will realize that those ideas could have possibly helped you solve your problems.
3. Taking a Walk: At times, you might think so much about solving your problems that you might find it harder to think clearly. Taking a walk can help you clear your mind, and you will be able to think about your problems a lot better with a clearer mind. Avoid thinking too much about your problems while taking a walk, since it is all about enjoying and relaxing yourself as much as possible. Walking will refresh your mind, and you will find it a lot easier to come up with solutions to problems with a fresh mind.
4. Taking a Break: As pressing as your problem might be, if you actually want to succeed at problem solving, then you should put your problems aside for a while and let them be. At this moment, simple make notes on what you think might solve your problems, but instead of acting on them just put them aside for a while, whether a week or a month. This is another way you can refresh your mind. After a while, with a fresh mind, you can get back to your problems and the ideas you noted down, and think about implementing them or furthering them.
5. Napping on It: Einstein used to take naps to solve his problems. The best ideas came to him when he took a nap after thinking about a problem long and hard. He would usually take a nap after thinking about his problems for some time, and this is how his best ideas came to him. You should try it too. Napping will help you relax your mind, and maybe you will subconsciously get the best ideas to solve your problems.
A problem is simply a question that needs an answer or solution. Problems can arise in just about anything, whether it is business or everyday life. It is natural to get overwhelmed when facing certain problems, but problem solving is not so difficult after all, especially if you consider the mentioned tips.

How To Have A Good Relationship With Your Money

1) COMMITMENT: You need to tell yourself that you are committed to work with your money to achieve all the plans you have ahead of you. Write down your goals and all the things you want to achieve, and review these regularly.
2) PAY YOURSELF FIRST: This will secure your relationship with money and cater for your sunset years and also enable you to fund the ongoing goals you have.
3) QUALITY TIME: The quality time you will have to spend with money should be spent reviewing how you are tracking with the regular savings you had. Take time and track where money is going daily or at least weekly. Then once a month allocate time to review how well on track you are with your plans.
4) INVEST IN IT: Remember it has been proved that you only get out a relationship what you put into it. This means that if enough is put into nurturing money, it will grow and returns will be assured in days ahead.
5) BUILD A NEST EGG: Do not spend all your money as soon as you receive it. Automate your savings and watch them grow. Seeing less money in your account will force you to re-adjust your spending habits. Monthly automate savings as the way to go if you want to increase your financial stability.
6) MAKE YOUR MONEY WORK FOR YOU: Do your research and figure out how to make your money grow. Try cultivating passive streams of income for a business or a property which brings in steady money whether you are actively involved or not.
7) LOOK FOR A WAY OUT OF A FINANCIAL WELL: Do you feel like you have fallen into a deep financial well? Your expenditure outstripping your income, debt, stress from all the work you are having to put in to earn an income but insufficient network to show for it? Then avoid leaving in financial denial, wake up to the fact, recognise the extent of the situation and start to work your way up out of it. Have financial goals and work towards them.
8) USE IT TO MAKE YOU HAPPY: It is said money can't buy happiness, but surprisingly that may not apply to cash spent on beach getaways and wine tasting weekends. People who spend money on experiences are happier than people who buy material goods regardless of cost or income.
9) STRETCH THE CHANGE YOU GET: Dump your small change in a jar every night, then invest it in a high interest bearing account at the end of each month.

Life of Abundance

Can this heartwarming statement be trusted? "There can be no lack unless God is to contradict himself and nullify his own work." It is the desire of God that you should get rich. No one is kept in poverty by shortness in the supply of riches; there is more than enough for all. If the individual is poor, it is because he does not follow the certain way of doing things which makes the individual man rich. Is there any reason to doubt that God's promise to restore perfect conditions to the earth will not likewise come true?
Our desire to live a life of abundance is merely by making use of things; there is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. Man has to have money to live a complete and successful life. Could you believe that there are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty. There is a secret - a trustworthy secret; this secret gives you everything you want... happiness, health and wealth. You can have, do or be anything you want. It doesn't care how big it is.
Your attitude plays a major role in every single aspect of your life. If what you want is to get ahead and lead a fulfilled life, then you must learn to develop a positive attitude for success. What kind of a house do you want to live in? Do you want to be a millionaire? What kind of a business do you want to have? Do you want more success? WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT?
The secret is the answer to all that has been, all that is, and all that will ever be. The secret is THE LAW OF ATTRACTION. The Law of Attraction is basically a concept which explains that you attract what you think of the most, so whatever you put out comes back to you. If like attracts like, positive attitudes attract positive events and people into our lives. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. If you're thinking of debt, that's what you're going to attract. You become what you think about most and you also attract what you think about most. In three simple words... thought become things. And that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring about positive or negative results. Thought is the only power which can produce tangible riches. By thought, the thing you want is brought to you. By action, you receive it. For example, if a person opened an envelope expecting to see a bill, then according to the Law of Attraction, the envelope would "confirm" those thoughts and contain a bill when opened. A person who decided to instead expect a cheque might, under the same law, find a cheque instead of a bill.
You can transform your life by staying positive. "You have to start saying things that you feel really good about yourself. It's going to be smooth and easy. Do not walk away from a challenge. Be brave. Let yourself accept challenges and try creative ways to deal with them. Problem solving is an art that we can all master, but as anything else in life, it requires practice.
You may even be able to look at your own life and see how negativity has affected you. It's likely you have let a negative attitude direct you in at least one situation in your life. Can you remember a time when your negative attitude caused problems in a situation? You can probably look at it now and see just how the negative attitude worked against you. Even if the situation was not a positive one to begin with, your negative attitude likely comes into play.
The Law of Attraction is all around us all we have to do is open our eyes and look.

The Law of Attraction: Potential Equals Fuel

Want fast results from the Law of Attraction? Tired of sitting around "waiting"? Did you know that you can take control and speed up the process of manifesting your dream life?
A good friend of mine, and respected teacher of the Law of Attraction, spoke about how the Universe delivers our manifestations. He described it like standing in a room with fifty doors. If a door is open, the Universe may be able to use that door to deliver what you have requested. If it is closed, the Universe will try, meet a closed door, and have to start over. This will increase the time needed for the Universe to ultimately deliver your request. That is, assuming you've managed to maintain the correct mental state during the time you are waiting.
So, it's pretty obvious that we need to open as many doors as possible. You will be relieved to know that it is not difficult to open a door. In fact, most of the doors are easy to open. The problem is, we develop bad habits, lifestyle routines, and perceptions in life that routinely shut doors behind us.
Imagine that you have a coworker who has been working overtime to complete a task needed to contribute to the success of the project. Now, imagine that you take time to sit down with this coworker and express your gratitude and appreciation for their hard work. You provide a validation to them for everything that they have done. This creates positive energy between you and this coworker. This is called "opening a door", or creating "potential". This potential can be used by the Universe, at a later time, to deliver something you have manifested.
The process of opening that door was not that difficult. In fact, a few genuine words from your heart and presto! But here is where most people drop the ball. Over the next few days and/or weeks, we tend to go back to our routine. We tend to fall back into the process of allowing our EGO to dominate our daily activities. One outburst of anger or an impolite comment and boom... the door will slam shut. All of that potential you created will be gone. In its place there is now a lot of negativity instead.
This is just a SINGLE example. In the course of an average day, we have THOUSANDS of opportunities to create potential (open doors) and just as many opportunities to slam them shut.
If you find that your life is "taking off" and heading to new and exciting places, you are likely opening more doors than you are shutting. This leads to unlimited possibilities and much faster results when attempting to manifest the things you want in life.
If you find that life seem to be degrading, or getting worse each day, then you are likely shutting more doors than you are opening. The abundance of negative energy will cause more and more things to go wrong and you will feel like you've lost total control over your life.
The last possibility is where most people are. They open and close roughly the same number of doors on a daily basis. This means your life isn't really going anywhere. Many people describe this sensation as "being stuck in a rut". It is a very sad place to be as you have little to look forward to. Over time, days will seem just like the others and you will find yourself unable to remember weeks, months, or even years at a time.
So, if you want to start taking control of your life and heading into a positive direction, take a look at your day-to-day activities and ask yourself...
Am I opening or closing these doors?

Road to Success - How to Pave It

We all want to be great at what we do in our lifetime. We want to be remembered for what we do and want to be able to share with others about how we got there. On that note, it is time to look at the road to success and what we need to pave it.
In order to pave an expressway, we will need tools. We need tools to make the expressway clear for the construction. We need machinery to lay down the pavement. We also need the right machinery to smooth out the pavement. When it comes to the road to success, we need appliances as well. We need to be educated to know what to do when building our highway. We need to know the destination of our expressway to triumph. We need to know which connections to make with people for making achievements on our passage.
As we understand the destination of our expedition, we will then know where we will need to place bridges and bypasses. On our march to excellence, there will be some things that we have to go over and under. There will also be places where we need to allow others to access our roadway so that they can get to their destination as well. Also, understanding our roadway's destination will enable us to know which materials we will need to accompany us on our road to success.
Knowing how long to construct our route to success will enable us to be better prepared for the journey we will take on it. We will know how much money we may need to save, how long we need to be in school, and where we need to work. We will also understand the type of people we will need to learn from to make our voyage successful.
Finally, as we set out to pave our trail to success, we need to have an idea of where it will end. When that road comes to an end, we need to have multiple exit points. We do not want to have a dead end road to achievement. Instead, we want our roadway to victory be able to lead us into multiple roadways of achievements.
As you can see, paving a pathway to fruition takes a lot of planning. However, the planning is fun when you know where you are heading. Also, in the end, the planning will be worth it when the road to success turns out to be victorious.

What To Do When Positive Thinking Isn't Enough

I used to be fascinated with the amount of people that would hear about positive thinking for the first time and come away with the assumption that all they had to do was to adopt a positive mindset and everything that they ever wanted would just somehow enter into their life. Of course, it usually doesn't take that long to figure out that this is not the case. There are plenty of times when just having a positive attitude is just not enough and when that happens, what do you do?
Here are a couple of suggestions:
1. You need to combine positive thinking with a little bit of old fashioned action taking.
You can sit around and dream about how you are going to get rich and feel good about it, or you can sit around and dream about how you are going to get the perfect girlfriend and feel really good about it... and still nothing is going to happen apart from the dreaming - until you are actually taking action. That tends to be one of the most common mistakes of those who have heard about positive thinking for the first time. They tend to think that it can be used as a replacement for taking action and that just isn't the case.
2. You need to make a plan for getting what you want.
Without having a plan, you can take a lot of action and also think positive and still fall far short of your goals and your dreams. So, you also want to get used to making plans for getting what you want. They don't have to be too rigid and detailed, but they should be something that you can use to guide you to get what you want. Let's use the example of wanting to get a girlfriend. Your action would be to meet women. The plan should end up being about where to meet women and what to do to impress that woman you meet and make her feel attracted to you.
Don't take this the wrong way and think that I am trying to imply that positive thinking is a bad thing. It's not. You should think positive, who wants to be negative all of the time? The thing is, you can't expect to get what you want in life if you are just adopting a positive mindset. You have to do more than that and taking action and making plans when combined with a little positive thinking can help you get exactly what you want in life.

Keys to Being Rich

Though it is wrong to love money, we can still take a look into how rich people became rich. There are some principles that they followed in order to accumulate the wealth they received. Not only did they follow those principles, they followed them consistently. Therefore, lets discuss some practices and ideas of rich people that will help us better manage our money.
One thing that rich people understand is that money is not a person. It cannot love them back, give them advice in times of trouble, or listen to them when they need to vent. Instead, rich people know that they are in control of money. They do not tell their money what to do, and wait for it to happen. No, they make their money do what they want it to do. They are the master, and money is their slave.
Rich people are not so caught up on trying to be customers. Instead, they like to be owners. Rather than eating at their favorite restaurant, they would rather buy their favorite restaurant and profit from everybody else's spending. Rather than simply buying their favorite product, they buy stock in their favorite product's company. This way, when they buy a product from the company they own stock in, they are simply paying themselves back.
When rich people go to work, they make sure that they are going to work where their skills will be rewarded. They make sure they are working in a place where they can prosper. They like to be noticed for what they can do, and will not accept being ignored. They understand that being rich has a lot to do with how they work. Therefore, they insert themselves in positions where they can function best and get promotions.
One of the main things that rich people do to maintain their wealth is live on a budget. They discipline themselves to only spend so much on leisure activities. They plan out their spending for months in order to keep a real perspective of how much they should have on hand for the long run.
Last but not the least, another thing rich people do not do is create bills or debt. Rather than taking out a loan for a car, they pay it in full. If they can afford to buy the whole house, they buy it. If they go shopping and cannot afford a new electronic device, they do not apply for a store credit card to get the device.
As you can see, rich people are rich because they are wise. May these tips be a blessing to you and may you be able to live wise and wealthy as well!

Leadership Inspires

Leadership inspires action and sparks your clandestine dreams. New business ideas fail when they have no stirring mantle of leaders that awaken the passion among their people. With leadership, you can turn around losses into profits. Successful entrepreneurship rests on how effective the leader is.
Whether you have to recover the lost appeal of your company in a flopped IPO, or if you are looking to sail and take risks in the tsunamis of economic recessions, people need somebody to believe in. We are talking about people with leadership qualities that can harbor the fears of people, and can make them believe in themselves.
The so-called fiscal cliff reverberates in every ones heart. Nobody knows how tax reforms will upshot in 2013. While Washington lawmakers decide the leap, their business has to take, they still have no choice but to get ready to surge, regardless of whether the results will be good or bad by the end of the year. It all rests in the hands of the leaders and their reaction to consequences.
One of the most talked about ideas is leadership. Plethora's of books have been written to identify the habits of great leaders. However, the big question is "What qualities do leaders have?" We are not going to give you another list but we definitely want to provide you the launch pad for leadership.
Be Vividly Clear About Your Goal
Make sure you know which station you want to get to before catching up the train. This clarity is the first prerequisite to anything you do. You cannot discover the leader inside you unless you know where you want to go. Define your goals clearly.
Drive Out Fear
Do not fall into the dilemma of fear. Drive out the urge of failure within yourself and take a bird's eye view of your situation. When planning to spur freshness to your business, be ready to take chances because you will not know the depth of the water until you dive in.
Make a Rock Solid Strategy
When you are clear about your goals, and have driven out your anxieties, then it is time to plan. Gather your squad of entrusted people. Shut off the doors and delve into the problem completely. Brainstorm on immediate actions and forecast the future. Take your own vividness and instill that in the team members. Make a rock solid strategy to ensure that you do not miss the train for your station.
You just have to look into yourself to discover the fountains of leadership. Prerequisites have been stated above. Resolve to develop and follow these habits and take your business to the next level with the new sun of 2013.

Love It or Leave It?

It can be really hard as an entrepreneur to know when to persevere and when to let go. On one hand, I truly believe that a lot of people give up on ideas before they're about to come to fruition. On the other hand, I also believe things should - can - flow effortlessly and don't have to be so hard.
Being an entrepreneur does require effort though. We are constantly testing new ideas and determining what is viable for our own businesses and clients. However, it's important to be aware of bright-red-shiny-object syndrome and resist the urge to jump from one idea to the other. We all have it and it's okay. Just being aware of this will make a huge difference. If you don't see each idea through, then you won't know if it will give you the results you want. I suggest to my personal clients that they choose 3 to 5 projects to focus on and see through to completion. The number really depends on how busy you are and what is involved for each project. A great rule of thumb is to choose ideas that you are passionate about and that are the most lucrative and easiest to implement.
What you likely know all too well is that sometimes these ideas just don't pan out the way you would like. Meaning you don't get the results you want. You've done everything you can to make it a success. This is okay. Please don't "leave" your business. All kidding aside, this is a real issue that many of you face. You have implemented your ideas and when they don't work out, you feel discouraged and start questioning why you're even in business. Please don't give up. With a few tweaks, you will get on track.
The answer is a tweak in attitude and mindset. When something doesn't work, it doesn't mean you failed. Look at anything that you do as a learning experience. You are seeing what works and what doesn't. Nothing more - and you don't need to judge it. Just move on.
The other idea is to look at what's flowing. It's possible that this can be easy! Ideas can flow and come to fruition without a lot of effort - however, this doesn't mean you don't have to do anything! It just means that the ideas, people, circumstance and events you need in order to achieve your goals line up easily. There is a catch to this though. You have to not only be willing and open to receive these ideas - meaning you notice the opportunities all around you - you also have to take action. If you're skeptical or feeling negative in any way, you will not notice all of the options that are available to you right now. It's that simple. When you're positive and believe you will be shown the way, you will notice the opportunities that will take you there. It's all about staying positive and having faith. I've been speaking about how the subconscious gets in our way - and that is a whole other article - but just know this part of your brain likes to keep you safe and secure. It doesn't want you to do new things that stretch you out of your comport zone, and therefore, it does everything in its power to keep you playing small. Notice when these thoughts creep in, and do whatever you need to do to move past these negative thoughts and feelings. I sometimes like to scream out loud. It helps me break-up the negative energy and it's basically me saying a big f-you - I'm not listening! It's a good thing I work from home.
However, if things aren't flowing, it doesn't necessarily mean you're on the wrong path. You could just be making it harder for yourself because of the mind frame you're operating from. I'm convinced I could have moved to California a whole lot sooner if I hadn't let negative feelings of guilt and doubt hold me back. If it's something you're passionate about, it's worth pursuing, and the faster you can get out of your own way, the better. Try asking for a shift in perspective about whatever problem you're facing. It works every time. You will have clarity and know which way to go.
When you truly act like your success is certain and operate from a place of love and service, you will think about what your clients need first and not what you're trying to get. This is when the miracles will start to flow!

Do What You Like

We all have to make a living to pay our expenses, and that may mean standing on our feet all day or slogging it out in a factory, or in retail, but this is not your true purpose, unless you are a surgeon, a doctor or a specialist of some sort. They have a very big purpose, they help people, they save lives, therefore making them a huge asset to humanity. But not everyone can be this..right? So how do we begin to contribute to a better world through that of living and working along side our true purpose?
Believe it or not there are people already who are changing the face of the world doing just this. They are doing what they like and enjoy making a living. It can't get any better than this can it? They are the people who have stepped out of their comfort zones to make it happen. There is a saying that says.. "If you keep doing the same thing as you always do, then nothing will change. Be the change you want to see in the world."
Be that person who makes the changes you want, don't wait for someone else to do it, you are that person. This is where you must leave your comfort zone - get yourself out there to be seen and heard.
You are a Leader
"Would you believe me if I told you this?" Probably not!
It seems easier to leave all that to someone else doesn't it? We are someone else, all of us are "other people." But we don't see this on a daily basis, we need to have it pointed out to us. If you have thought of an idea, or have a burning desire to accomplish something then chances are it is YOU the universe has selected! Move towards getting the right people around you and begin your journey of a lifetime to make it possible.
Most of us want BETTER! but don't know quite where to begin.
For starters, lets begin here, ask yourself what it is you would really like to do, it may be a hobby of some sort or charity work. It may be a job you have always wanted to do, or better still a business of your own.
Perhaps you have lost countless dollars on trying this & that, or been to seminars that get you all geared up to think you can retire in a year from now,, with a fast talking spiffy dressed guru standing on a platform. Yes.. Ive been there too. That's what got me to this website, I have been one of those people who have thrown away countless dollars on share trading courses, and many others to say the least, all in the name of wanting to better my quality of life and have financial independence.
So what does this all have to do with what I do to live my purpose and function as a whole person.
After many so called failures..and believe me I have spent many years failing. I now see that failure is really success in disguise. If I had not attempted to keep getting up and trying and failing, I would not be here right now inspiring you to be the very best you can be in your own right...
Just so you don't need to spend half your life finding your true purpose as to why you are here, please allow me to elaborate just a little on why you and me are here.
We are all survivors, simply because we're here.. Before you existed as a human being with arms and legs you were a mega force of survival..yes you. You began as a being in an altered state..meaning a different state to what you are in now. You fought to penetrate the egg inside your mother's womb while the millions of others perished that state and returned back to the mega force or universal home.
You were the one and only out of millions of other mega forces that fought to get here. So in having explained this so far, can you begin to realize that you have come here as a survivor, we are all survivors, that's what we all have in common, therefore we are perfectly adaptable, having fought and survived to be here, we then begin to evolve from that state inside the womb, and we continue to do so outside of the womb, for many years.
This makes us very powerful critter's wouldn't you say? We all fought to come here to live our truest purpose., or we would have fallen away and perished in our earlier quest to get here. Is any of this making sense to you?...
Our soul knows its true purpose, even if we have forgotten, its only our minds that forget, the soul never forgets nor dies, its your mega force that drives you from your first point of survival.
So what does this all have to do with what I do to live my purpose and function as a whole person.
Some of us see our purpose at a young age..however its not that common. We usually allow others to use US as THEIR purpose for getting what they want.. say no more! an actual fact these types of people rarely have the true inner satisfaction of ever living their truth of soul purpose, and its quite a sad thing to witness. They are under a misconception that using others as their stepping stones to gain wealth by methods of deceit, lies and fake schemes. My life's experiences have shown these types of people up to be ones whom I pity the most, because they are poorer people having had never truly seen their true purpose in value. Take for example Adolf Hitler, I think most people know of the terrible atrocities that were implemented by this one person. He was misguided into thinking he was doing the world a favor  and he never thought once about what his truest passion may have been, he may have had that little voice within, but his greed for power and control drowned out that little voice until it was gone completely. Regardless of his crimes Hitler was a very gifted and clever man but he used his that ability for detriment. Had he known his true purpose allowing that little inner voice to become louder within - his power to live his truth would have been displayed in making the world a much better place, in saving lives instead of doing away with over six million Jewish people.
We all have an inner voice, this comes from the essence of our truest most purest self. And it is never wrong, and having free will..we can choose to drown it out with denial, or we can allow it to become loud, until we do something about it, and evolve into our essence of being our own leader and helping others to reach that point.
My inner voice was there for a very long time it became louder, in fact it was so loud I had to eventually listen, and I'm glad I did, we can either drown it out with denial or say' okay I'm listening carry on please." I'm glad I decided on the latter, I now do not deny my truth and I can speak any truth with ease and no fear of being judged for it anymore.
How do I know what my purpose is where is it how do I find out?
Stop..Listen..Go!!
Just like that, STOP! what you are thinking and listen and take notice of what you are feeling about your current situation in your life. How are you living. Ask questions and answer them yourself don't involve anyone else in this exercise, the ball is in your court. You ask the hard questions and answer them YOURSELF honestly and truthfully!
Ask yourself these questions...
Am I really where I want to be?
Am I happy?
Is there anyone suffering because of how I live my life?
Are the people I currently have around me serving me and inspiring me?
Are people draining me and sucking my energy?
What childhood dreams did I have?
What happened to those dreams..where did they vanish to?
What am I good at and what have I done in the past that has brought me enjoyment and satisfaction?
What hobby would I like to take up that gives me pleasure?
Am I doing what others expect me to do and nothing for myself?
I'm sick of my current job I wish I could make money doing something I LOVE! but how? I may not be able to make money doing what I love.
My one question to the last one to you is..why not?
Kick Start Ideas:
Check to see what is happening in your local area. Your area is a goldmine for success, this is how it all began for me. I started taking FREE computer lessons at my local library and neighbourhood centre and now I build websites like this one, and I met like minded people how good is that? All free. Browse through your local newspaper if you get one, there are usually classes you can attend for a minimal cost that most can afford.
Book yourself in to a class or two and do this early as depending on the type of free class it is. You'll need to be quick but the good news is that they will normally run the same classes again later in the same year. I usually book into five or more as they begin on different dates and days in the week. I have found they take smallish numbers and that means you get a lot of attention. Take along your little notepad, sometimes they supply this, but I always take my own. This not only kick starts you onto another path, but it your helping your helping your local community.
You can glean a wealth of knowledge from the places I have just mentioned, and turning them into a part or full time business of your own is something that can be done simply with almost zero start up costs, and no fuss. There is so much to choose from, and an excellent place to find your purpose. This where I found mine, and it was right under my nose all along, and after all the fancy seminars I had attended earlier, with it all ending up costing me thousands upon thousands of dollars. I learned the hard way about throwing away big money only to have it end in disillusion.
Last of all you can just take the bull by the horns, and present yourself in person and ask to see the manager. Speak confidently and act causally keen and tell him or her your willing to work for one month without pay. This way you are shoeing him you are not afraid of work and you are serious, he will pick up on the fact you are also reliable and steady, and you may find this is a much more exciting and more effective way to get a job.

Take Control of Your Life Right Now! Why Wait?

Perhaps you allow weeks and months to pass and you don't even think about your personal or professional goals. Do you ever ask yourself the question "What am I waiting for." The good news is that if you choose to, you can start planning and taking action to achieve your goals today. They're still there just waiting for you!
Using the following tips will help you to take control so you start moving forward:
1. Think about your goals so you know exactly what you want to achieve then with pen and paper write them down before you transfer them to your computer. This will give you more clarity and the handwriting will transmit them to your brain.
2. Looking at your goals now create an action plan. If more than one take one at a time and decide what specific actions you need to take to begin working toward achieving your goals. Giving yourself the clarity about the path that needs to be taken will make it easier to accomplish what you want.
3. It's important to acknowledge that whatever time, research and money it takes to reach the goals, you deserve to achieve them and to have what you dream about.
4. Connect with the concept that you're in charge of your own life. The only person that can truly control your choices and decisions is you. Thinking about it this way, does it make you feel excited or maybe just a little bit afraid to step off the ledge? Fear is perfectly OK, just don't let it stop you from achieving what you want.
5. Avoid waiting.Take action. Whether you procrastinate or not the sun still rises and sets. Why wait? You will feel really great when you take control and you take action to move forward.
6. Celebrate every success, big or small.
7. Infuse aspects of your goals into each day. When you start to focus on achieving your goals you will find yourself thinking about them and also maybe talking about them so you really put it out into the Universe.
Create a vision board. It doesn't have to be big and dramatic just something that allows you to continually see what you want to achieve. If you prefer not to have a vision board just cut out pictures and display them wherever you see them regularly. On the bathroom mirror or your refrigerator.
Everything is an inside job. When you stop waiting for people or situations to make your life happen, you regain control over how you spend your time.
Acknowledge that only you are responsible for your life. Celebrate your progress each step of the way and entwine aspects of your aspirations into your daily life.
Following these tips will give you a renewed sense of self-control, self-confidence and focus and instead of waiting you will start feeling excited to get going each day. So, why wait, take action now.

Live in a State of Gratitude

My experience has shown me that there is one attitude, which will completely transform your life. It will help you to invite more wealth and better health into your life, give you access to your greatest potential, help you build and sustain great relationships and make you feel the happiness and joy you deserve. The attitude I am referring to, is an attitude of "Gratitude". When you consciously discover all the things you have to be grateful for in your life and you focus your energy on inviting the positive emotions associated with them into your experience, you will feel more positive, believe in possibility and feel inspired to take action daily to achieve your goals.
Feeling gratitude is always a choice. It is a simple process of looking around your world, seeing all the wonderful things you have to be grateful for and then allowing the glow of joy and satisfaction to flow over you. The positive state you feel, when in a state of gratitude, will equip you to feel more inspired, you will experience far more self-confidence and self-belief and you will see the world around you from a far more positive perspective. This will allow you to see more opportunities and more easily overcome challenges.
Finding Things to be Grateful for
We have just had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful festive season, filled with wonderful times with our families and friends. We have enjoyed many memorable and enjoyable moments during the festive season. If you have nothing else to be grateful for, use the wonderful experiences and time with family and friends, as a starting point. You really do have so much to be grateful for, when you really start to look, you will discover far more wonderful reasons for gratitude, than you would believe existed.
Making This Work for you
The way your life turns out in the future, is directly related to what you create. You are a very creative being, who arrived on this planet just like everyone else, naked, ignorant and vulnerable. Everything that happens in your life from that moment on is related to the choices you make or fail to make, the actions you take or fail to take and the thoughts you think.
Creation Process
The creation process is simple. Your thoughts create your expectations, which you turn into your vision and goals for the future. You then craft a set of action plans which you act on daily so that you can create your future life experience.
Driving the Creation Process
The way to drive your dreams and turn them into your reality is through expectation. The greater your expectation, the greater will be the things you will ultimately be able to manifest in your life. Thus the greater your expectation and your resultant belief in your ability to turn that expectation into your reality, the greater will be the possibility that you will manage to convert your expectations into your future reality.
Are your Expectations Limiting your Potential?
Action Idea: Take a close look at your expectations right now. Are they very limited and restrictive, because of your belief in yourself and what you are capable of achieving? If you have very limited expectations about what is possible, then it is extremely unlikely that you will achieve greatness. We seldom, if ever exceed our own expectations. The expectations you have, limited or expansive, have a powerful effect on how your life will turn out, and so if you want to change the way your future will turn out, change your expectations about what is possible for you.
Dare to dream about all the wonderful possibilities that are available to you, believe you can achieve them, create a positive mental attitude, by feeling gratitude for everything, which is working in your life and you will have created the perfect circumstances for inviting all the success you desire into your life.
